HeraIQ and Nourish
Nourish is a person-centred digital care planning platform used across residential, home care and children's services. HeraIQ is a narrower thing, and this page is about which of those two you actually need — not about which is better, which depends entirely on the question you arrived with.

Where HeraIQ is different
These are statements about HeraIQ. Every one of them is checkable against the rest of this site, and two of them are things we decline to do rather than features.
- Hera drafts a care plan from your own assessment and stops where the assessment is silent, rather than filling the page. A plausible sentence about someone nobody has met is worse than a blank.
- HeraIQ reports gaps against the regulation they belong to, and says plainly that it does not certify anything.
- Approval is a person, named, every time — not a setting.
Which one you need
Nourish spans settings HeraIQ does not, children's services among them. If your services include those, that reach matters more than anything on this page. Where the two overlap is care planning, and the question worth asking of either is what it writes when the assessment does not say.
