The hours admin takes belong to the people in your care.
Your week rarely goes where you meant it to: the rota redone twice, the audit folder before a visit, a service user’s notes typed up long after the shift ended. HeraIQ is built to take that load off the manager and the carer — it does the reading and the looking-up, and drafts the rest for a named person to check. And where your records cannot answer a question, it tells you that, rather than letting a gap pass for an answer.
Who it is for
Registered managers, nominated individuals and owners.
Services registered with the Care Quality Commission: home care, care homes, supported living, complex care and live-in care. Most of them are small — one location, one manager, and no IT department to hand this to.
“Healthcare” on these pages means adult social care as the Care Quality Commission regulates it — the services listed above. HeraIQ is built around the rotas, visits, care plans and CQC evidence those services run on. It does not do anything useful for a GP practice, a dental surgery or a hospital, and it does not pretend to.
CQC is not the only regulator a care service can answer to. If yours is inspected by a different one, the rota, the visits and the care planning would still work, but the evidence mapping is written against the regulations CQC inspects against and would be the wrong frame for your inspection. Ask us before you buy on the strength of it.
How it decides what to say
It answers from your records, and stops where they stop.
One rule runs through the whole product: not checked never renders as good. Where the records cannot answer a question, HeraIQ says so in those words rather than filling the space with something plausible.
That is why the evidence page reports Caring as not evidenced rather than scoring it — no rota, no visit and no document can tell you whether care was kind. And it is why nothing Hera drafts enters a record until a named person presses Apply, with who pressed it and when kept alongside what the record said before.

Before you spend a call on us
What we are not.
The things a supplier usually lets you discover in month three. If one of these rules us out, better now than after a migration.
- We are not a digital social care recordHeraIQ does not replace the system you already keep your care records in, and it is not certified as one. It reads what you already record. If you are looking for your first records system, you are looking for a different product.
- We are not certifiedNo ISO 27001, SOC 2, Cyber Essentials or DSPT. No DCB0129 or DCB0160, and no Clinical Safety Officer appointed. If your commissioner requires any of those in writing, we will fail that check today.
- We are not on NHS England's assured solutions listThat list assures digital social care records, which HeraIQ is not. Check with your own commissioner what that means for any funding you are counting on — we are not going to tell you how your ICB reads its own rules. HeraIQ is priced to be bought without it.
- We are not connected to the Care Quality CommissionNobody outside CQC can tell you what your rating will be, and we do not try. HeraIQ reports gaps against the regulations by number.
- We are not establishedHeraIQ is new. There are no customer logos on this site because there are no customers to name yet, and every name and figure in the examples on these pages is invented.
The full list of what the product does not do, and what protects the records it does hold, is on the security page — including where your data physically lives, which is Tokyo.
Judge it on a real month.
Your first month is complimentary, with no card. Nothing here is worth as much as putting your own records in and reading what it says it could not check.
